Ward Testimony Meeting

We all have to admit that testimony meeting is the most favorite time of the month for us, I know it is for me. There's nothing better than being enlightened by others spirits. But there's always those few people that stand up and tell the best stories. Stories so good that you can bring them up on a first date to break the ice.

Here's a list of my favorite things people say for testimony meeting:
(These are actually true, believe it or not.)

1- Personal revelation stories.
2- "OMG I'M ENGAGED, YOU GUYS!"
3- "Then she was like, then I was like, and then we were both like...."
4- Stating your major.
5- Reminding everyone how smart you are and how hard your major was to get into.
6- Talk about the "big game"
7- "My fiancee' is HOT."
8- Dropping your calling, and letting everyone know how spiritual you are.
9- "You guys, MY  missionary comes home in like 5 months! I'm totally freaking out!"
10- People who let you know they're so busy, they don't even have time to breathe.

Lastly, you know how there's always the same 5 people that go up every single month? And yet, they never seem to testify, rather they're either up there for dating advertisement, or just up there because they love the spotlight. Either way, they make me laugh and I love them for their efforts.

Intro to the Blog

Hello Fellow Readers,

This blog idea came to my friend Megan and I while we were in church today. We were writing notes to each other about the funny quirks of being in a singles/student ward, when we realized, this stuff needs to be published!
We welcome guest publishers, because let's face it, our single's ward isn't the only funny one out there.
Being single isn't always fun, but the perks of being in a single's ward make life so much better. I can't imagine life without single's ward testimony meetings, the first week of church in a student ward, munch and mingle, ward prayer, and break the fast.
Please help keep this blog going with new stories, thoughts, etc. Email stories to leiter.lynsey@gmail.com.

The Church is true!
